The RuuviTag Pro is an environmental sensor that fits perfectly with demanding industrial and serious home uses.
The Pro is based on RuuviTag’s successful concept and additionally brings several new outstanding features to the table. RuuviTag Pro is the rugged open source Ruuvi sensor you’ve been waiting for.
The IP67 certified RuuviTag Pro (3-in-1) comes with a breathable membrane that enables air humidity monitoring. It tolerates temporary wet conditions.
RuuviTag Pro has an extremely accurate temperature sensor on board. The sensor is designed to meet ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601 requirements for electronic patient thermometers.
Measurement resolution is 0,01°C, while absolute accuracy is astounding at ±0,1°C across the temperature range of –20 to +50°C, with no calibration.
The sensor units are 100% tested on a production setup that is NIST traceable and verified with equipment that is calibrated to ISO/IEC 17025 accredited standards.
What sensors are included in RuuviTag Pro?
RuuviTag Pro has two models: a fully sealed version and a version with a breathing membrane.
The fully sealed version can measure temperature and acceleration. The other version also measures air humidity.
Please read the technical specifications for more details before ordering.
Why are there two enclosure models in RuuviTag Pro?
RuuviTag Pro’s fully sealed version is IP68 and IP69K certified. This means that it tolerates wet conditions like never seen before.
The IP67 model has a weather resistant membrane that allows air humidity to pass through. This is a requirement to allow you to measure air humidity.
What are the differences between the IP67, IP68 and IP69K in RuuviTag Pro?
RuuviTag Pro has been professionally laboratory tested and certified for IP67, IP68 and IP69K.
IP67 tolerates wet condition only temporarily. It can be used outside as long as the breathing membrane will not stay wet more than 30 minutes.
IP68 certification ensures that RuuviTag Pro will function in water depth of up to 50 meters for 24 hours.
IP69K means that the unit has undergone a challenging set of tests to ensure that it offers protection against penetration of high pressure and high temperature water of 80°C.
What are the differences between RuuviTag and RuuviTag Pro?
RuuviTag Pro has several new features such as:
- High accuracy temperature sensor
- Wide operating temperature range
- IP67, IP68 and IP69K certifications
- Professional mounting
- Industrial design
- Optional expansion port
- Sensor configuration depends on the model
- RuuviTag Pro doesn’t have air pressure sensor
