Description

The IS4P100 Enclosed Rotary Isolator is a robust 4-pole AC isolator designed for the safe and reliable isolation of three-phase and neutral electrical circuits. Rated at 100A and compliant with IEC / EN 60947-3, it is ideal for industrial, commercial, and renewable energy installations. The durable IP65 polycarbonate enclosure provides excellent protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Installation
- Ensure the power supply is fully isolated before beginning installation.
- Mount the isolator using the external mounting points provided on the enclosure.
- Confirm the rotary handle is in the OFF position (the lid is interlocked and can only be opened when OFF).
- Select suitable cable entry points and open the required gland knockouts (M20, M25, or M32).
- Connect incoming supply cables to terminals L1, L2, L3, and N.
- Connect outgoing load cables to terminals T1, T2, T3, and N.
- Terminate the earth conductor using the additional earth connection.
- Tighten terminal screws to the recommended torque of 3 Nm.
- Close the enclosure lid and secure it with the stainless-steel screws.
- Rotate the handle to the ON position to energize the circuit.
