Expand the capabilities of your Victron system with the GX IO‑Extender 150 – a compact, USB‑powered module designed to seamlessly integrate with GX devices such as the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX. Effortless to install and fully supported by Venus OS and Node‑RED, it unlocks advanced automation and control possibilities for renewable energy systems.

Enhanced I/O Flexibility for Smart Control

Tailor your system to your exact needs with eight digital I/O ports that are configurable via DIP switches as 8 inputs, 8 outputs, or a split of 4 inputs and 4 outputs. In addition, four PWM channels offer precise 0–5 V control – ideal for applications like LED dimming or motor speed regulation. All ports include LED indicators to show their current state.

Powerful Relays and Solid-State Switching

The module features two bi‑stable (latching) relays that keep their position even after a power loss, making them perfect for signalling. These relays handle low‑power switching: up to 3 A @ 30 V DC (or 0.3 A @ 220 V DC), and up to 2 A @ 60 V AC (or 0.5 A @ 250 V AC). Additionally, a solid‑state switch is included for DC applications, capable of switching up to 4 A at voltages up to 70 V.

Seamless Automation with Node-RED and Venus OS

Thanks to its deep integration with Node‑RED and Venus OS, the GX IO‑Extender 150 can be programmed for complex logic and monitored via the Switch pane of your GX device or remotely via the VRM portal. This makes it easy to automate systems in off‑grid solar setups, marine environments, campervans or backup power systems.

Compact, Reliable and UK-Ready

Powered by a USB connection to your GX device, the module requires no external power source and consumes less than 1 W. Its durable housing is compact (123 × 67 × 23 mm) and rated for ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +50 °C. It is compatible with DIN‑rail or wall mounting (with optional accessories) and comes backed by Victron’s industry‑leading support and warranty.
