A VERY impressive battery! Although I had measured its size and visualised it, upon delivery I was still astonished with the size and weight of the battery for stored energy!
I’m converting a van to camper (along with so many others right now), I decided to go down the route of induction hob and a 230V ac inverter as I didn’t fancy playing around with gas in something I’d be sleeping in! This battery, together with a Victron MultiPlus gives me multiple days of cooking without the need to charge, and now when I do plug into shore power, I can charge the battery in a few hours utilising the full charging power of the MultiPlus. Of course I have DC to DC and Solar charging as well, changing over to this LifePO4 battery from AGM means I don’t waste hours of sun or fuel in the absorption and float phases of charging.
I was really reluctant about investing into a LifePO4 Battery but now having used it for less than a month, I wish I’d done it sooner. As always, Victron live up to their name, the quality is outstanding!
Energy Monkey were really good too, Paul help me with a few technical questions I had and Pennys customer service was outstanding, keeping me updated along the way and then making sure it was delivered a day that I was home, thank you 🙂
