Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100: Advanced Hybrid Inverter/Charger (PMP483105000)
Introducing the Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100, the next-generation hybrid inverter/charger that merges the robust capabilities of the MultiPlus with the sophisticated grid-interactive features of the Multiplus II. This high-performance unit (PMP483105000) is the ultimate solution for Energy Storage Systems (ESS), off-grid power, and seamless backup energy solutions.
Intelligent Power Management and Grid Compliance
The MultiPlus-II delivers a massive 10,000VA of power and features an integrated 140-Amp smart battery charger. Its key differentiator is the inclusion of advanced grid-management capabilities:
- PowerAssist Technology: This critical function intelligently prevents AC source overload (from a generator or shore power connection). It first prioritizes loads by automatically limiting battery charging, and then dynamically boosts the incoming AC supply with battery power when high-demand loads are active.
- Optimized Self-Consumption: Features an external current transformer option for implementing precise external current sensing (up to 32A). This enables optimal solar energy self-consumption and full support for dynamic PowerControl and PowerAssist features.
- Grid Compliance: Includes built-in anti-islanding protection and boasts an extensive list of country approvals, making it a secure, compliant choice for grid-tied systems.
Seamless Backup and Energy Storage (ESS)
The MultiPlus-II is the key component in any Victron ESS system, offering the flexibility to integrate perfectly with MPPT Solar Charge Controllers or existing Grid-tie PV Inverters.
- Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function): In the event of a grid failure or loss of external AC power, the integrated pure sine wave inverter automatically and instantaneously takes over supply to the connected loads. This transition occurs in less than 20 milliseconds, guaranteeing continuous operation for sensitive electronics like computers and critical security systems.
- High-Capacity Charging: The powerful 140A adaptive charger ensures your 48-volt battery bank is quickly and effectively maintained, maximizing battery lifespan and system readiness.
Trust in Victron Energy’s commitment to quality; this premium inverter/charger is protected by an outstanding 5-year warranty.
When coupled with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to auto starting a backup generator and more.
