Victron VE.Bus BMS NG (BMS300200300)
This Victron Product benefits from a 5 year warranty
The Victron VE.Bus BMS NG is a compact, intelligent Battery Management System, engineered specifically for use with Victron Lithium NG batteries in systems equipped with VE.Bus-compatible inverters or inverter‑chargers, such as the MultiPlus and Quattro. It safeguards your system by continuously monitoring individual cell voltage and temperature – automatically disconnecting loads in the event of under‑voltage and halting charging when over‑voltage or over‑temperature is detected.
Thanks to its integrated Bluetooth Smart, you can configure, monitor, and update firmware wirelessly via the VictronConnect app on Android or iOS. The Instant Readout feature delivers critical data – such as state of charge (SoC), temperature, and alert – directly in the device list, without ever needing to connect.
This BMS is built to match all typical DC system voltage – 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V – and supports flexible battery bank configurations in series, parallel, or both. You can scale up to 50 batteries for 12 V or 24 V setups (yielding up to 192 kWh or 384 kWh, respectively), or 25 batteries for a 48 V arrangement (up to 128 kWh).
Designed for smooth integration into larger systems, the VE.Bus BMS NG features multiple safety and remote‑control outputs:
-
Load Disconnect –Â Cuts power to loads or inverters at the first sign of cell undervoltage.
-
Charge Disconnect –Â Stops charging equipment if cell overvoltage or excessive temperature is detected.
-
Pre‑Alarm Output – Triggers a warning – LED, relay, buzzer – at least 30 seconds before a critical shutdown.
-
Remote On/Off Terminal – Allows external control of power disconnection for both loads and chargers.LED status indicators offer at‑a‑glance insights – a blue LED for Bluetooth connectivity, a red LED for warnings or alarms, and a VE.Bus status LED for overall system health.
Robust yet lightweight, the VE.Bus BMS NG houses all this advanced functionality in a IP20-rated ABS enclosure, operating reliably between –20 °C to +50 °C. It also provides dedicated power outputs (e.g. GX‑Pow) to support Victron GX devices, plus an auxiliary input (Aux‑In) for optional, external backup power – ideal for maintaining remote diagnostics even if the system shuts down
