5.12 kWh 16 Cell Large Capacity
BSLBATT® 100Ah Lithium Battery 48v has a large capacity of 5.12kWh and is composed of 16 high quality LiFePO4 cells connected in series, with an actual voltage of 51.2V.
Why 16 cell batteries are better than 15 cell lithium batteries
48V LiFePO4 Batteries can be made of 15 cells and have a nominal voltage of 48v but 16 cell batteries have a nominal voltage of 51.2v 16x 3.2v = 51.2v however it is common for manufactures label both of these as 48v batteries so why is it better to have higher voltage?
To achieve a 48V battery, you typically need 16 cells in series and a nominal battery of 51.2V.
Having higher voltage is better for a number of reasons really – higher battery voltage means your inverter/chargers and solar chargers can produce more power – or are less restricted – create voltage and current can flow smaller voltage – less current can flow.

BSLBATT® 48V 100Ah Lithium Battery is a standard 4U Rack battery size, which is smaller size compared to ordinary batteries of the same capacity, can save an appropriate 1/3 volume and improve space utilisation.
