Description

The Stag IS4P32L Enclosed 4 Pole 32 Amp Isolator is a rotary isolator switch designed to safely disconnect AC power from circuits or equipment. It is commonly used in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems for safe isolation of low-to-medium current circuits.

The IS4P32L Enclosed Rotary Isolator is a robust 4-pole AC isolator for three-phase and neutral electrical circuits. Rated at 32A and compliant with IEC / EN 60947-3, it is suitable for industrial, commercial, and renewable energy applications. Its durable IP65 polycarbonate enclosure ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The L variant comes with a larger enclosure for easier wiring and additional knockouts.

Installation

1. Ensure the power supply is fully isolated before starting installation.
2. Mount the isolator using the external mounting points on the enclosure.
3. Confirm the rotary handle is in the OFF position (lid interlocks prevent opening while ON).
4. Select appropriate cable entry points and open the required gland knockouts (M20 or M25).
5. Connect incoming supply cables to terminals L1, L2, L3, and N.
6. Connect outgoing load cables to terminals T1, T2, T3, and N.
7. Terminate the earth conductor using the additional earth connection.
8. Tighten terminal screws to the recommended torque of 2 Nm.
9. Close the enclosure lid and secure it with stainless steel screws.
10. Rotate the handle to the ON position to energize the circuit.
