Victron Energy are longer established in the market and manufactures products for many different markets like Marine, Vehicles, Off-Grid, ESS and commercial applications. Victron has many different variations for MPPT’s, DC/DC chargers, Shunts, and batteries so the option for systems is almost limitless. Victron is also open source so if you wanted to make the software do something specific you could do this. Sunsynk is really the new kid on the block and only manufactures systems typically all in one hybrid for ESS, Off-grid, and Commercial applications. Both Victron Energy and Sunsynk have a high level of features, additionally both have the capabilities for technicians to remotely connect to systems and perform diagnostics and settings updates. This is important for us as we can reduce costs by not having to return to site for simple problems. Victron probably has more settings, and this is really because there are more system types you can build with the components. From a dealer point of view both companies have a good warranty system and very low failure rates. Sunsync is a lower cost option with fewer features. Victron Energy is higher cost but comes with more features and system design capabilities So the question we see is which product is best for the customers’ requirements we feel between Sunsynk and Victron we can offer products to a wider range of the market.
